The Atlantic interviewed John Sylvan about inventing the K-Cup and then underestimating what a terrible idea this was for trash. Or how ridiculously cheap he was selling out for.

Mother Jones counted all 8 billion discarded ones and concluded the damn things would wrap around the Earth more than 10 times.

“I feel bad sometimes that I ever did it,” he said.
