I understand that the toothpicks are for the cheese. But what about the crackers?

I understand that the toothpicks are for the cheese. But what about the crackers? Should not there be a toothpick for the cracker as well? Fingers on the cracker but no finger on the cheese. What about the toothpick: Do we need a sanitary way to pick up the toothpick to get the cracker to get the cheese?

More and more Americans eat alone. Not counting parents trying to pack their kid's lunch while he's eating breakfast.

60% of Americans eat breakfast alone.

This is in part to the growing number of single people. I don't know who the NPD Group are, but on the bright side they find this all encouraging if you want to market single-serve foodstuffs.
